Extended Stay Hotels

Extended Stay America East Providence is designed specifically for people who need more than just a room while away from home. In addition to the comfortable recliner and large work desk, the oversized studio suites feature a kitchen that allows you to prepare meals at your convenience. As a guest of Extended Stay America, you receive complementary movie channels, free local phone calls, voice-mail, and a two-line phone with a computer dataport. Guests also have access to a 24-hour, coin-operated laund
Although Value Place offers several room choices , the essential features stay the same. Like extended stay hotels, Value Place offers short-term housing for guests on a budget, but that’s where the comparison ends. Outside Inn offers furnished homes for business travelers to use as extended stay lodgings. Finding an extended stay hotel that offers all of the amenities of a traditional hotel can be difficult. Our pet friendly lodging offers spacious pet designated rooms, dog walk spaces, and special pet amenities.
According to Reuters, the new midprice chain is going to be "hip and humble," and in focus group testing, the vibes "appealed to everybody from millennials to baby boomers." The hotels should be along the lines of ICH's Candlewood and Marriott's TownePlace Suites, though a little bit downscale from Hilton's existing Homewood Suites — room rates for Home2 are going to be around $100.
Construction is expected to begin on the first Home2 property sometime in the next 6 months, kicking off a plan to open 100 by the end of 2012 and another 60-70 in 2013.

One more note: Back in December, we'd heard the very first whispers of Hilton launching a hip boutiquey hotel brand. We found out the upcoming brand was going to be headed up by Ross Klein (formerly of W Hotels) and we'd caught wind of a couple rumors about the new chain — specifically, that there was a bit of scrambling to get the brand finished, plus some speculation about the name (we'd heard "The Quinn"). We haven't heard much about it since, but we're pretty sure it's a project that is entirely different than and separate from Home2. Assuming it's still in development, we'll keep an eye out for news on that brand in the coming months.
Budget - Paying a set nightly rate for several weeks at hotel adds up to more than you will spend paying a weekly or monthly rate at an extended stay hotel alternative. Not to mention that buying groceries and cooking is much less expensive than eating out 3 meals a day for several weeks.
Space - You can find a suite with up to 3 separate bedrooms, kitchen and living area. This is so much more comfortable than a cramped hotel room that you will almost feel like you are at home.
With a firm eye on demographic (75% have 4-year college degrees, drive BMWs or Toyotas, shop at Nordstrom, read Travel and Leisure, like some luxuries but consider themselves down-to-earth), Element is counting on the affluent early adopters who choose to couple their high disposable income with social responsibility.

Speaking of coupling, thankfully Element has chosen to kit out their apartments with the Westin bed. Now that’s luxury.
Today, Hilton Hotels announced the launch of a new brand, an extended stay chain called Home2 Suites. Before we continue, we'd just like to take a moment to address the name: we all get it, right? Cause an extended stay hotel is supposed to feel like your second home — it's home two. Creative.

Not to hate on it, but had we been in on some of those concept development meetings, we would have thrown Home: The Remix out there. Just saying.
