Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Pensacola Beach is now open. The Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Pensacola Beach sits on over 800 feet of gulf-front property. An additional 800 feet overlooks the bay. The new beachfront hotel has 162 newly appointed guest rooms, including 24 suites. You can find out more on the hotel's website. The new hotel opens on Penscola Beach in the midst of the BP oil spill. Jimmy Buffett recently talked to CNN's Anderson Cooper about the oil spill, which has impacted Pensacola Beach. Jimmy Buffett says, "it's depressing as hell." Jim Buffett also says he doesn't like the dispersants BP is spraying on the oil spill.
